Christine Doucet

Christine Doucet, 76, of Ragley passed away on July 2, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 10 am at Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Cormier officiating. Burial will follow in The Bluff Cemetery, Evangeline, LA. Visitation will begin on Thursday, July 5th from 4-9 at Robison Funeral Home and on Friday morning from 8 am until service time. Christine was a native of Gilbert, LA and lived most of her life in Westlake. She worked until retirement for the Calcasieu Parish School Board. She is survived by her daughters: Patricia Doucet and husband James of Reeves, LA, Kathy Deaton and husband Rex from Lake Charles, LA, Faye Bourque and husband Ronald from Westlake, LA, and Connie Cormier and husband Roy of Ragley, LA; son: Ernest Michael Edwards of Gillis, LA; sister: Ann Doucet and husband Houston of Topsy, LA; 26 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilfred Doucet; 1 son, Jeff Edwards; 10 brothers and 1 sister.
