Christine Guidry

Christine Guidry, 64, of Lake Charles, LA died Saturday, May 17, 2014. Christine was born in Lake Charles, LA on December 13, 1949 to Frank and Opal Morasco. She enjoyed being around friends and family. Her hobbies included fishing, camping, and gardening. She retired from Tommasi Brothers Construction Company after many years of service. She is survived by one brother, Francis Morasco and wife Diana of Lake Charles; one sister, Karen Stockton and husband Joel of Omaha, Nebraska; one niece, Angela McCain and husband Ross of Lake Charles; three nephews', Nick Morasco and wife Kellie of Lake Charles, Jared Stockton of Omaha Nebraska, Randy Poole and wife Joy of Westlake, LA; and others who she considered family Sheena Alfaro, Galilea Alfaro, Gabriela Alfaro, Samyla Alfaro, and Khoury Wilter. She is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband of 30 years Ronnie Guidry. Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Monday, May 19, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume Tuesday from 8:00 AM until time of service. Father Jeff Starkovich will officiate. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery.
