Christy was born January 7, 1963 in Colfax, LA to the late Walter “Buster” and Ellen Brevelle. She was the youngest of seven children. Much can be said about Christy but above all she was a devout catholic and loved her husband, children, and grandchildren. Christy regularly attended mass at Our Lady Queen of Heaven and volunteered her time for adoration. A pillar of strength, Christy played a vital role in her family’s life, offering unwavering support to her husband throughout his military career. Her love and encouragement were a constant source of inspiration, shaping the foundation of her family. A proud mother, Christy found immense joy in watching her children achieve their goals. Her unwavering belief in their abilities fueled their success. As a grandmother, she reveled in the special moments she shared with her grandchildren, creating cherished memories that will be treasured for generations. Beyond her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother, Christy touched the lives of many with her kindness and compassion. Her legacy lives on through the love she shared and the positive impact she had on those fortunate enough to know her.
In this time of sorrow, let us remember Christy for the love she gave, the joy she spread, and the enduring mark she leaves on the hearts of her family and friends. May her spirit continue to shine brightly in the memories we hold dear.
