Christy Michelle Hearn

Christy Michelle Hearn, who was born on March 1, 1976 and went to heaven on July 9, 2024. Christy was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Wayne and Sharon Hearn.

Christy was welcomed into heaven by her son, Mason Hearn, her maternal grandparents Guy and Ethel Leger, her paternal grandparents Leonard and Bennie Hearn, her uncles Gurfy “Junior” Leger, Kenneth Leger, and Jim Welch.

She leaves to cherish her memory her parents Wayne and Sharon Hearn, her brother Brent Hearn, son Terence West and his father Terence West Sr, her special friend Barry Bouillion, her Aunt Vicki Welch, Aunt Ronnie (Randy) Gaspard, Aunt Marcel Leger, Christy had many family members who were involved in her life and loved her very much.

After graduating from Parkveiw, Christy became a Certified Nurse’s Aide. She shined in her profession because of her big heart and compassion towards those in her care. People called her to help take care of their loved ones at the end of their time, especially her Uncle Jim and grandparents. Because of her compassion and concern for others, she was an organ donor. She continued her education and graduated in Medical Office Assistant and Decoding. After graduating she realized her calling was in patient care.

As we say farewell to Christy, we would like to thank my sisters, nieces, and her special friends Micah and Travis Pradua and their daughter Gracey, for their support during this difficult time.

A Funeral Service will begin at 10:30am on Monday July 15, 2024 at Johnson Funeral Home with Monsignor Jace Eskind officiating. Visitation will begin Sunday July 14, 2024 at Johnson Funeral Home from 5:00pm till 8:00pm. A rosary will be said at 6:30pm Sunday. Visitation will resume on Monday at 9:00am till time of service.
