Cindy Darlene Kuhlthau, 59, of Sulphur passed away on April 26, 2018 surrounded by her family after a battle of pancreatic cancer. She was a supporter of the PTO Sulphur Schools, enjoyed family genealogy, and taking photos of wildlife and nature. Cindy loved spending time with her family and friends.
Cindy is survived by her husband of 39 years, Raymond W. Kuhlthau, Jr. of Sulphur; her 3 children, Joanie K. Warren and husband Scott of Chester, SC; Scott A. Kuhlthau and wife Vanessa; and Brittany Kuhlthau all of Sulphur; 4 grandchildren, Aiden, Brayden, Noah, and Victoria; her sister, Susan D. Braselton; special aunt, Dianne Busby; uncle, Johnny Stakes, and friend, Margaret Hammett; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Brannon W. Kuhlthau and parents, Elmer and Betty Jane Downey.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 1 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Old Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Monday, April 30, from 10 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home until time of the service. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network – pancan.org/donate or mailed to 1500 Rosecrans Ave. Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266
