Mrs. Cindy worked at Abe’s Grocery for 12 years before going to work at J.C. Penny for 18 years before retiring as a training supervisor in 2009. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 with a rosary at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday at 8:00 AM.
To Mrs. Cindy a perfect day would be playing ball or working in the garden with her grandkids, while her son was repairing something for her, and in the background, her brother would be grilling her pork chop “well done.”
“She was a good and faithful servant who loved her God above all else.” What she was most proud of in life was her son and grandchildren.
The family has requested that donations be made to Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance at www.ocrf.org.
