Clara E. Thibodeaux

Clara Ellen LaFargue Thibodeaux, 58, of Lake Charles passed away Saturday January 21, 2012 in a Houston hospital.

She was a native of Basile, LA and a graduate of Eunice High School and live d in Lake Charles most of her life. Mrs. Thibodeaux worked as a hairdresser for many years, prior to owning and operating Louisiana Cajun Cooking along with her husband and daughter. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Council Catholic Church.

Survivors include her two daughters, Kimberly Delino and husband Nathan of LaPorte, TX and Wendy Thibodeaux of Lake Charles; two grandsons, Kyle and Koby Delino; her mother, Dorothy Courville Vidrine; brothers and sisters, Dwayne Vidrine, Shelia Baldwin, Melina West, Barbara Roy, Clarence LaFargue, Jr., and Glen Vidrine. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Joseph Thibodeaux; her father, Clarence LaFargue, Sr.; stepfather, Lee Vidrine, and sister, Flo Bellow.

Her Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Our Lady of Good Council Church. Reverend Alan Trouille will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:30 PM and continue Tuesday from 9:00 AM until 12:30 PM in the funeral home.
