Clara Fontenot

Clara Dale Fontenot, 76, passed away on December 24, 2024 at Harbor Hospice. Clara was born on February 19, 1948, in Lake Charles, LA to Lawrence Ursan and Olia LeJeune Vincent. She was a LPN at Lake Charles Care Center and St. Patrick’s Hospital and worked 20 plus years as a medical professional. Clara enjoyed crocheting and sewing, reading and studying the Bible. 

Clara is survived by her siblings, Donnie Vincent and wife, Susan, Ronnie Vincent and wife, Liz, LaQuita Jonas and husband, Mark, Lawrence Vincent, II, Darla Gibson and husband, Malcolm, and Abigail McCain and husband, Lawrence; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Paul Fontenot; her brother, Mark Vincent; her son, Allan Vincent; and her daughter, Evia Fontenot, who was born asleep.

Services for Clara will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 1 PM at Johnson Funeral Home in Sulphur. Burial will be a Farquhar Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of service.
