Clarence Dale Fontenot, Sr.

Clarence Dale Fontenot, Sr., 73, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022 in his residence. Mr. Fontenot was born on July 7, 1948 in Eunice, La to Eugee and Eva (Aymond) Fontenot.  He was a big Saints fan and loved LSU. Clarence was very social and enjoyed dancing, music and impersonating Elvis, hence the name “Dalvis”. 

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 54 years, Janice Fontenot; sons, Shannon Fontenot, Clarence Dale Fontenot, Jr., Michael Fontenot and Justin Fontenot; grandchildren, Zachary, Madaline, Justin, Layne, Kaytelynn and Sabrina Fontenot; siblings, Ray and Tony Fontenot, Jane Thibodeaux and numerous nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 4:00 thru 8:00pm at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff with a Rosary at 6:00pm.
