Clark Marshall Long

February 1, 1961 — March 5, 2021

Clark M. Long, 60, passed away on March 5, 2021 at his home, surrounded by loved ones.  He was born February 1, 1961 in Lake Charles, LA, the son of C.M. and Betty Miller Long.

Clark married the love of his life on October 27, 1989 and they celebrated 31 years of marriage last year.  He was a passionate family man and loving husband, father, and grandfather.  Clark was a co-owner of C.M. Long, Inc. along with his sisters and enjoyed hobbies such as fishing, hunting and bee keeping in his spare time.  Clark was an avid bonsai artist, part of the National Bonsai Association, and is known for his Bald Cypress styling.

Clark was preceded in death by his parents, C.M. Long and Betty Miller; his grandparents, William Robert Long and Sabra Emma Hutches and David Miller and Irma Olivier.  He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Borel Long; his daughter, Kirsten Reynolds and husband Paris; his son, Cedric Long and wife Jade; his daughter, Lina Long; and his grandson, Clayton Heikkila.  In addition, he is survived by his sisters, Marsha Miller, Becky Woods, and June Baudoin; and his brothers, Bruce Long and Bill Long.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Long residence on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 5:00 pm.
