Clayton Peloquin

November 27, 1939 — August 22, 2020

Clayton Peloquin, 80, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020 at his residence.

He was born on November 27, 1939 in Lake Charles, LA to Austin and Zelma

Peloquin. Mr. Peloquin will be remembered most of all for the love he had for his

family. He was a man who enjoyed visiting and helping other as often as he

could. He was a hard worker, who worked for years as an iron worker where he

retired. He was also employed by RD Hyatt Construction for many years and then

in his later years he worked at US Fence & Gate Co. until his health caused him to

retire.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Judith Benoit Peloquin; children,

Ernest Laine Peloquin and Lisa Marcantel (Kim); grandchildren, Colt, Chase, Evan,

and Dillon; great-grandchildren, Dakota, Tanner, Tate, Layla, Dean, Brody and

Parker; siblings, Dexter Peloquin, Jennifer Mayo, Bobby Dupuis; and numerous

nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Aston Peloquin, Maybelle

Meyers, Jeanette Williams, and Austin Peloquin, Jr.

His memorial service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff at

5:00pm on Friday, October 2, 2020. Visitation will begin at 4:00pm until service

time at the funeral home.
