Cleo "Toby" Oldham, 100, of Westlake, LA, died at 8:10 PM on Friday, September 26, 2015, in a local care facility. Mrs. Oldham was born May 22, 1915, in Saint Helena Parish, LA and moved to Westlake at the age of 6. She has resided on the same street in Westlake for the rest of her life. She was a founding member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening and arts and crafts, especially crocheting, quilting, and sewing. She will always be remembered as an independent woman who loved her family dearly. Mrs. Oldham is survived by her sons, Roy Oldham of Westlake and special friend Twila Mallett of Lake Charles and Thomas Oldham and wife Barbara of Lake Charles; eleven grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty years, Joseph Douglas Oldham; daughter-in-law, Jeanette Oldham; grandchildren, Joseph "Doug" Douglas Oldham, II and Michelle Sacksteder; one brother; three sisters; niece, Wrama Brunson; and nephew, George Schwazer. Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Tim Norris will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
