Clint O. Simmons

Clint Odibert Simmons, 75, of Carlyss died on Friday, June 15, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 10:00 am at Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Russell Beard officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklin Spring Cemetery, Oberlin, LA. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 17, 2012 from noon-9:00 pm at the funeral home with a Military Memorial at 7: 00 pm. Visitation will also be Monday morning from 8:00 am until time of service. Clint was born in Oberlin in 1936. He served his country in Korea. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Roger Terrence Simmons; his parents, Clinton V. and Minerva Simmons; and sister, Carolyn Simmons. He is survived by his wife, Helen Douget Simmons; 2 sons: Tony V. and Kim M. Simmons; 1 daughter, Bridgette Simmons; 2 sisters: Marilyn Carroll and Maude Ella Daley and husband Alpha Jr.; 5 step-children: Delwin Fuselier, Roxane Brown and husband Faron, Carol Morris and husband Robert, Gail Montie, and Robert Ewing; 13 grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.
