Clyda Earlene Guidry

Clyda Earlene Guidry, 93, passed away on February 14, 2024 in a local hospital. She was born on November 27, 1930 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Eula and Jack Cooper. Clyda enjoyed her family, playing dominos with friends and traveling. Her favorite destination was Yellowstone National Park where she spent many summers volunteering.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 73 years, LP Guidry, Jr.; her children, Jimmy Guidry (Renee) of Sulphur, Margaret Trouth (Paul) of Sulphur and Venita Watts (Hershel) of Hideaway, Texas; her grandchildren, Jennifer Allen, Marilyn Gunter, Amy Drymon, Linzi Brawner, Ashley Fletcher, Meredith Hoffpauir, Leo Bourgeois IV, Jimmy Dale Guidry, Jr., Jacque Bourgeois and many great grandchildren.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. A private family celebration is being held in her honor at a later date.
