Clyde Joseph Broussard, Sr.

Clyde Joseph Broussard, Sr., 76, of Lake Charles died at 6:49 PM on Monday, June 24, 2013 in a local care facility.

Mr. Broussard was born on October 22, 1936 in Lacassine, LA and lived most of his life in Lake Charles. He was a graduate of LaGrange High School before serving in the U.S Army. Mr. Broussard was a truck driver and also a mechanic during his working life.

Survivors include a son, C.J. Broussard, Jr. of Moss Bluff; three daughters, Evelyn Lyn Sarvaunt of Moss Bluff, Ethel Tel Pinion of Egan, LA, and Tonya Lyons of Lake Charles; four sisters, Bessie Broussard of Ragley, Bettie Leger of Sulphur, Ethel Trahan of Gulfport, MS, and Mary LeDoux of Lake Charles; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edna and Joseph Conner and Cline Broussard.

Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. An inurnment will be held at a later date in the Veteran's Cemetery in Leesville, LA.
