October 21st, 1993 was a most exceptional day. Connor James Fry was born to Robert Fry and Pamela Fry LeDoux and the world was never again the same. After 27 years of bringing joy, laughter and faithful friendships to many, Connor has joined both sets of grandparents in God’s home that is prepared for him.
Harold and Margaret Fry, Woody and Mimi Duhon, Aunt Gretchen King and Uncle Rusty Fry cannot imagine their great fortune of having Connor join them.
Connor was loved by his mom, Pam; stepdad, Colvin; father, Bob; siblings Haley Guillory (Josh), Angie Fry (Briggs Becton) and Chip Fry (Michelle); niece, Sydnie Johnson; nephew, Maddox Fry; and many more nieces, nephews, and cousins. His aunt and uncle, Charles and Beverly Allen, loved Connor unconditionally. He also leaves behind his best friend, Ripley the Rottweiler, the apple of his eye and emotional security.
Connor was an all-district football player for Barbe High School, receiving the prestigious Little Bucs award presented by coaches. He served as a mentor to many young players. Many thanks are given to Coach Parry Lalonde for serving as a Christian mentor and friend to Connor.
He was blessed with amazing friends who loved him unconditionally. Jacob Shepherd, Ryan Landry, Steven Benjamin, John Percle, Tim Cutrera, Chris Austin, Grace Hernandez, Tre Stetzlin, Dylan Todd, and William George, and many others will always have the hearts of Connor’s family for being his village.
In his last days he became C-Bear to his nieces and nephews Jamie, Daniel, and 2-month-old Branson Guillory. His connection with Branson will forever be our most precious memory.
Connor accepted Christ as his savior on a Mission Trip to Africa several years ago. In true Connor fashion, he was baptized in a family member’s pool. There is great comfort knowing we will hug him again one day. He has the BEST hugs one could ever imagine.
He loved his family, friends, babies, and animals. He was kind, sweet, funny, and generous. His family loved him as fiercely as he loved us.
Please join us for a visitation on Friday, October 30th from 4pm-8pm at University Baptist Church.
