Constance "Connie" Annette Marlatt

January 3, 1945 — June 10, 2022

Constance Annette Marlatt, 77, of Lake Charles passed away after a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis on Friday, June 10, 2022, with her younger sister, Jackie, by her side.

Connie was born on January 3, 1945, in Adrian, Michigan, to Floyd and Annabelle Marlatt. She was a 1962 graduate of South Cameron High School. Connie was an accountant and worked in the payroll department for Family and Youth Counseling Agency. She was quite an athlete; her younger years she followed in her father’s footsteps and came to enjoy bowling.  She loved tennis so much so that she went to US Open to watch Martina Navratilova play in person. Golf was her game, and she played as often as she could as long as she was able. She took great pride in her role as an older sister and protector.

Aside from her athletic nature, Connie was a compassionate and loving person, helping anyone in need. She had a great love for animals as well, poodles being her favorite.

Preceding Connie in death are both her parents.

Those left to cherish her memory are sisters, Jackie Griffin of Sulphur, Marianne Anderson and Debra McComb; nephews, David and Christopher Griffin; niece, Kara Thibodeaux; great nephew, Kyle Thibodeaux; great niece, Kamryn Thibodeaux; closest friend, Brenda Young of  Kinder; loving pets, chocolate poodle, Sasha and Siamese cat, Abby.

In respect of Ms. Marlatt’s wishes the family will have a private gathering in memory celebration
