Constance "Connie" "Noonie" Cormier

Constance “Connie” “Noonie” Cormier, 60, of Moss Bluff passed away at 12:20 AM on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 in her residence.

Mrs. Cormier was born on January 14, 1965, in Sulphur, Louisiana. She was raised in Westlake and spent 13 cherished years in Ragley before making her home in Moss Bluff.

A devoted wife and loving mother, Mrs. Cormier lived her life with a generous heart and steadfast strength. Known for always being there when others needed her, she was a true helper in every sense—offering comfort and support. Her home was a place of warmth, where family and friends often gathered around the table to enjoy her cooking, shared stories, and laughter.

Her deep faith was the foundation of her life. A prayer warrior and woman of conviction, she inspired those around her through her steady trust in the Lord.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 38 years, Roy Cormier, Sr.; children, Jennifer Cormier, Roy Cormier, Jr., and Chad Cormier; siblings, Patricia Doucet (James), Kathy Deaton, Faye Bourque (Ronald), and Michael “Boobie” Edwards; and a special niece who she called her best friend, Wendy Doucet.

She was preceded in death by her son, Cody Cormier; parents, Ernest Edwards and Christine Doucet; and a brother, Jeff Edwards.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 3, 2025 in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel in Moss Bluff. Deacon Fred Reed will officiate. Burial will follow in New Ritchie Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the start of the service.
