Cora Adaway

Cora Ann Adaway, 64, of Kinder, passed away on Monday March 4, 2024 at a Lake Charles Hospice Facility after an extended illness.

Cora was a native of Eustis, Florida and a longtime resident of Leesville. She recently moved to Kinder due to her health. She attended Cooper Baptist Church for many years and enjoyed going to the casino at Coushatta and also playing Bingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Earl and Billie Faye Fletcher Windham. She leaves to honor and cherish her memories her two daughters, Alica Guillory (Ronnie), Kinder; Heather Broughton, Leesville; grandchildren, Brileigh Guillory and Kolby Hatfield, both of Kinder; Nicholas Broughton, Matthew Hesson, Bradley Hesson and Isabella Hesson, all of Leesville; sister, Edie Faye Giese, Florida and Edward Earl Windham, Jr., Slagle, LA.

As to her wishes, no formal services are planned.
