Cora "Boo" Lebleu

December 14, 1946 — September 11, 2016

Cora “Boo” LeBleu, 69, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016, at a local care facility.

 

Ms. LeBleu loved to play bingo, pokeno, and cards with family. She was married to the love of her life, William “Billy” LeBleu, for over thirty great years. “Boo” retired from Avis and National Rent-a-Car and was also a beautician. She was a parishioner of St. Margaret Catholic Church. “Boo” will always be remembered as a caring loving person that always took care of her friends and family when they were ill. Her loved ones fondly remember the holidays at home with her.

 

Left behind to cherish her memory is her son, Brian Myers (Hope); daughters, Khristie Belaire (Art), and Stacy LeBleu (John); sister, Florence Chapman (Eddie); brothers, Wilson Landry, and Claude Landry; grandchildren, Ashliegh Newsome (Johnathan), Christian Adams, Colby Johnson, Cheyenne Belaire, Alexis LeBleu, Coraliegh Myers, Elizabeth LeBleu, Bryton Sullivan, her pokeno friends, and many nieces and nephews.

 

She is preceded in death by her husband, William “Billy Bob” LeBleu; parents, Leafrey and Estelle Landry; sisters, Rosa Mae Vidrine, and Marie Vidrine; and brothers, Hulen “Eli” Landry, and LJ Landry.

 

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Rosewood Nursing Home, Grand Cove Nursing Home, Lake Area Medical Center, Dr. Watley, and Dr. Landry.

 

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00AM Friday, September 16, 2016, at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Lake Charles. Father Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate. Interment services will follow in Lacassine Cemetery.  Visitation Thursday will be from 4:00PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary beginning at 6:00 PM.  Visitation will resume Friday morning from 8:30 AM until 9:30AM in the funeral home.
