Cory James Venable

Cory James Venable “That Biker Dude”, 29, of Lake Charles passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2018.

He will be loved always and missed dearly by all who loved him. May he rest in eternal peace and walk hand in hand with Jesus Christ.

He leaves behind his mother, Karen Venable; father, C.J. Venable, Jr.; brother, Jesse Venable; maternal grandparents, Palma and Bob Vanacore; maternal uncles, Lance and Duane Vanacore; paternal aunts, Veree Venable and Agnella Taylor; as well as multiple cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, March 1, 2018 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Very Reverend Anthony Fontenot will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the start of the service.
