Courtney Dakota Court-Court Theriot

Courtney Court-Court Theriot, 15, of Lake Charles passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013 in a local hospital.

Courtney was born in Lake Charles, lived the past seven years in Grand Lake and was a student at Grand Lake High School. She loved to laugh, listen to music and sing with her brothers and sisters. She also loved to rule over her class at GLHS.

Courtney especially loved to whistle and will always be remembered for her catch phrase, can you whistle!

She leaves to cherish her memory, parents, Christopher Dallas Theriot, Sr. and Crystal Troy Theriot, of Grand Lake; twin sister, Cierra Theriot; sister, Cheyenne Theriot; brother, Christopher Dallas Theriot, Jr., all of Grand Lake; paternal grandparents, Glenn D. Theriot and wife Rita of Roanoke, LA and Kathleen Ogelsby Daigrepont and husband Louis of Marksville, LA; maternal grandparents, Martin Troy of Abbeville and Vickie Higginbotham Trotter of Dayton, TX; maternal great-grandparents, Martin Troy of Youngsville and Wanda Simon Troy of Abbeville and numerous aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents, Dallas and Ruth Theriot and maternal great-grandmother, Ella Mae Cormier Bourque.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 27, 2013 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Taylor Sanders will officiate. Interment will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation Friday will be from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a scripture service beginning at 6:00 PM. Visitation Saturday will be from 8:00 AM until the time of service.
