Craig Joseph Derouen

Craig Joseph Derouen, 55, of Lake Charles died Sunday, August 19, 2018 in Houston, TX.

Mr. Derouen was born in Lake Charles where he lived most of his life. He attended LaGrange High School, studied welding and worked many years as a skilled welder. He enjoyed music, spending time with friends and loved animals. Craig will be most remembered for his kind, generous spirit and for his love of laughter.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two sisters, Loretta Ousley (Jerry) of Moss Bluff and Angela Arabie of Lake Charles and two brothers, Kevin Derouen of Houston, TX and Louis Arabie (Shelly) of Lake Charles. He also leaves extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Nelson Derouen and grandparents, Wilbert and Dorothy Lea McComb.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM Friday, August 24, 2018 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Fred Reed will officiate. A rosary will be recited Friday at 9:00 AM. Friends and family will gather from 9:30AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
