Curley Dale Sims

Curley Dale Sims, 53 of Vinton passed away on November 3, 2012 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Shirley officiating. Burial will be in Nibletts Bluff Cemetery under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 5, 2012 from 3-9 p.m. at Robison Funeral Home and will resume on Tuesday at 8 a.m. until time of service. Curley was a native and long-time resident of Vinton. He is survived by his wife, Connie Sims of Vinton; three daughters, Shanna Richard and husband, Brandon of Sulphur, Jennifer Sims of Maine, and Crystal Welsh of Vinton; four sons, Dayton Sims and wife, Laura of Sulphur, Christopher Sims of Maine, C J Sims of Vinton and Jimmy Sims of Vinton; two sisters, Susie LaRive and husband, Joseph of Sulphur and Betty Citizen of LA; brother, James Sims and wife, Kris of Hemphill, TX; and 6 grandchildren.
