Curtis Eugene Salge

Funeral services for Mr. Curtis E. Salge, 68, of Hackberry, will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 in Hackberry Community Center at 3pm. Brother Jimmy Sanner will officiate. Burial will follow in New Hackberry Cemetery under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Monday, October 4th from4pm until time of service on Tuesday. Mr. Salge passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2010 in Sulphur hospital. He is preceded in death by his Parents: Bennie & Linda Salge; Sister: Sharleane Mitchell & husband Alton Mitchell; Brother: Bennie H. Salge. Mr. Salge was employed for over 30 years for Tenneco-Crosstex Gas Company in Johnson Bayou, He loved to do wood working, build things and fish. Curtis had special friends, his dogs, Sha-Baby, Flower and Trixie which he loved very much. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Doctors & Staff of West Cal-Cam and Cornerstone Hospital for their care and kindness during Curtis illness. Survivors: His loving wife of 8 years: Dale Lynn Salge, Hackberry; 3 Daughters: Christena Swire & husband Lionel, Hackberry; Rebecca Jean Pack, Texas; Charity Lynn Swire, Hackberry; 14 Grandchildren; 16 Great grandchildren; Sister: Janice Blaschke & husband Ralph, Kennedy, Tx. along with a host of other family & friends.
