Curtis Louis Tregle, 76, went to be with the Lord on Saturday June 11, 2016.
Curtis was born on October 2, 1939 in DesAllemands, LA to Henry and Nettie Tregle, Jr. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Curtis was known by many as the Crabman, he owned and operated the Crabman Bait Shop in Cameron, LA for 19 years and was a ferry boat captain for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Thomas Tregle and Henry Tregle III.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory are his wife of 51 years, Danna Tregle; daughter, Connie Tregle; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Curtis and Cookie Tregle, Jr. and Chad and Heather Tregle; 3 brothers, Lew Williams, Glenn Tregle and Lowell Tregle; 10 grandchildren, Charles, Justin and Kimi Gordon, John Michael Johnson, Kameron, Destin and Daylon Luke, Wyatt, Tucker and Gabryelle Tregle; 9 great grandchildren, Sydni Gordon, Miles Luke, Jandon Solie, Destiny, Tyler and Kristin Richard, Doodle, Jansen and Trey Luke.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday June 13, 2016 at 2 PM from Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Hugonin, Jr and Father Tony Fontenot officiating. Interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
Visitation with the family will be on Sunday from 4 to 9 PM and on Monday from 10AM till time of service.
