Cynthia A. Bowman

Cynthia A. Bowman, 55, of LeBleu Settlement, LA died Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at a local hospital. Cynthia was born on November 13, 1959 in Lake Charles, LA to James and Mildred Bergeron. She was a lifelong resident of LeBleu Settlement. Cynthia enjoyed the outdoors raising cattle, chickens, and pigs. She was one of the first women in Calcasieu Parish to join the FFA and 4-H growing up. She loved being around family and friends. She was a country girl at heart. She is survived by her loving husband Mark Bowman of LeBleu Settlement; three children, Jason Bergeron and Renee of LeBleu Settlement, Jessica Guillote and Michael of LeBleu Settlement, Mark Bowman II of Denham Springs, LA; five grandchildren; four siblings, John Bergeron and wife Sheila of Longville, LA, Kathy Miller and husband Leonard of LeBleu Settlement, Bill Bergeron and wife Vickie of LeBleu Settlement, and James Bergeron and wife Sherry of Pearland, Texas. Mrs. Bowman is preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild. Visitation will be on Monday, July 6, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A private graveside service will be held for family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
