Cynthia Ann Deshotel

Cynthia Ann Deshotel, 39, of Lake Charles died Thursday, November 17, 2011 in her home.

Miss Deshotel was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. She was a graduate of LaGrange High School and attended hair school. She enjoyed fishing at the camp and cutting and styling hair for her family and friends. Her greatest times were those she shared with her family, her nieces and her nephews.

Miss Deshotel was a member of Christ Community Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Elaine Addison Deshotel of Lake Charles and Paul Deshotel and wife Judy of Moss Bluff; two sisters, Pauline Lamprise Howard and husband David of LaGrange, GA and Peggy Deshotel Frazier and husband Ralph of Lacassine; one brother, Dwayne Deshotel and wife Brandee of Lake Charles; godchildren, Khyla Deshotel, Cameron Frazier and Bethany Lamprise; numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends, Jennifer Arabie and Sherry Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Abel and Cora Deshotel and Edward and Elda Addison and brother-in-law, Lynn Lamprise.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, November 21, 2011 at Christ Community Church under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Pastor Rick McClain will officiate. Interment will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation Sunday will be from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM in the funeral home. Visitation Monday will be from 9:00 AM until the time of service in the church.
