Dallas Earl Nicholson

Dallas Earl Nicholson, 79, of Lake Charles, died Tuesday October 22, 2013 in a Baton Rouge Hospital following a brief illness. A native of Howard, KS, Dallas was a longtime resident of Lake Charles. He Honorable and faithfully served our country in the United States Navy and was a retired mechanical engineer in the manufacturing industry. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Wilma Mae Isch Nicholson. Those left to honor and cherish his memory are a daughter, Brenda Rayburn and husband Tom, Fairfax, VA; son, Blair Allen Nicholson and wife Jane, Denham Springs; grandchildren, Scott, Kaitlin and Zachary Rayburn and Dylan and Devin Nicholson. Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home on Saturday October 26, 2013 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM with the Rev. Chris Fuselier officiating. As to his wishes, Mr. Nicholson was cremated under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
