Dallas John Leboeuf

July 5, 1912 — October 27, 2012

Dallas LeBoeuf, 100, of Lake Charles died on Saturday, October 27, 2012 in his residence after a brief illness.


Mr. LeBoeuf was born on July 5, 1912, in Creole, Louisiana, where he was raised and educated. He had a very sharp mind and enjoyed being around people. He never met a stranger, and was one that enjoyed taking care of others and was a great provider for his family. He was a man of remarkable vision and talent. He retired from CITGO and was of the Catholic faith.


His enjoyments in life include shrimping, hunting, and fishing. His was active in his garden until he was 98 years old. He loved sharing fresh produce from his garden to anyone who would come by to see him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.


He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Isabelle Picou LeBoeuf: his parents, Oliver and Estelle Savoie LeBoeuf; three brothers; four sisters; two great-grandsons. Those left to honor and cherish his memory are two sons, Wendell LeBoeuf and wife Diane and Robert LeBoeuf and wife Genny; three daughters, Karen Barrios and husband Wayne, Cathy Peshoff and husband Bobby, and Pamela LeBoeuf; fourteen grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.


Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM at the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with Deacon George Carr officiating. Burial will be Highland Memory Gardens.


The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the excellent care provided by Dallas's care givers, Sandra, Peggy, Brenda, Jessica and especially his grandaughter Allysa for the special attention given to him.
