Daniel Craig Lee, 61, of Lake Charles, LA died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 17, 2015 in a Lake Charles hospital. Mr. Lee was born on March 26, 1953 in Lake Charles, LA. He was a resident of Little Rock, AR for over 40 years before moving back to Lake Charles five years ago. He will be remembered as a kind, gentle man who was a loving son and father and was a wonderful uncle to his nieces and nephews. Mr. Lee loved to garden and to go boating and he also enjoyed mountain climbing. Those left to cherish his memory are a daughter, Michelle Lee of Little Rock, AR; a son, Jacob Lee of Little Rock, AR; his mother, Doris Lee of Lake Charles, LA; four siblings, Douglas Lee of Lake Charles, LA, Deborah Peterson of Broken Arrow, OK, and Dody Leopard and Dennis Lee both of Lake Charles, LA; two nephews, Race Leopard of Lake Charles, LA and David King of Bizmark, AR; and two nieces, Lindsay and Megan Peterson both of Broken Arrow, OK. He was preceded in death by his father, David E. Lee. Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, LA. Burial of cremated remains will be held at later date near his father in Sallier Cemetery in Lake Charles, LA.
