Daniel "Danny" Lopez

Daniel Danny Lopez, age 65 left this earth on January 12, 2014 to go to that wonderful fishing lake in the sky that has a golf course next to it. He left his sons, siblings, family and many friends to fish here on earth for a while. They include Stephen, Eric (wife Michelle), and Alex (fianc Nettie), the mother of his children Debbie, grandchildren, Brennan, Elizabeth, Adam, Jillian, Ariana and Annalyse and brothers Richard, David, Terry Lopez and sister Carol Willis. Danny was born on April 15, 1948. It mattered not to him that that date wasnt a favorite one of most people. He lived in Sulphur most of his life. His hunting, fishing and golfing trips starting from that Sulphur driveway. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served 4 years as a combat controller and trained many men to be paratroopers. He worked at Stine Lumber for many years where he was deeply loved and appreciated by many. Danny leaves behind many hunting, fishing and golfing buddies along with the many friends he made in his life. A memorial service will be held at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur. A visitation will be held from 5 " 9 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the funeral home with a rosary at 6 p.m. and will resume on Thursday at the funeral home from 8 a.m. with a service at 10 a.m. followed by a graveside service at Mimosa Pines Cemetery.
