Daniel Hughes DeBarge, 88 of Sulphur passed away on June 7, 2013 in his residence. He was a member of Light of Life Church and lived in the Sulphur from 1963 until his death. Daniel was an engineer for DOTD for 30 years. He served his country in the U S Army serving in World War II. Daniel is survived by his daughters, Delta East Goolsby, Mary Touchett and husband, Adam, and Penelope Leteff and husband, Robin all of Sulphur; son, Dicky E. Faux and wife, Claudette of Sulphur; sister-in-laws, Dorothy Cooke and Elaine DeBarge; brother-in-law, Eddie Henry;11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabeline DeBarge; parents, Maurice and Agnes DeBarge; sister, Hervey Henry; and brother, J.C. DeBarge. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June10, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck White officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 11a.m. until 9 p.m. and will resume on Monday at the funeral home at 9 a.m. until time of the service. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to the family.
