Moss Bluff - Daniel Joseph Pellerin, 60, passed away at his residence in Longville, LA on Friday, July 26, 2019.
He was born on September 15, 1958 to Frank Valsin and Earline Stuckey Pellerin in Alexandria, LA. He owned and operated a successful automotive mechanic shop for many years. He will be remembered as a loving family man and will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Lisa Davis Pellerin of Longville, LA; children, Trudy James and husband Douglas Rogers of Longville, LA, Erica Foster of Longville, LA and Frank Pellerin and wife Bethany of Breaux Bridge, LA; granddaughters, Abigail Rogers, Alayna Pellerin, Madison Tyler and Avila Pellerin; brother, Donald Dipuma; brother-in-law, Roger Flatt, Sr. and wife Bonnie of Buckner, IL; sister-in-law, Cathy Pellerin of DeRidder, LA; nephews, Elton Pellerin and wife Leah of Alexandria, LA and Roger Flatt, Jr. and wife Nazomi of Japan; and niece, Kimberlie Poisson and husband Gary of Peru, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Valsin and Earline Stuckey Pellerin; grandparents, Valsin Joseph and Laura Pellerin and Basil and Eva Stuckey; brother, Ronald Valsin Pellerin; and son, Christopher Martin Pellerin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 29, 2019. A rosary will be held at the church at 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Burial will take place at Magnolia Church Cemetery following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help defer expenses.
