Daniel J. Terro, 80, passed away on July 10, 2018 in his residence surrounded by his family. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Carlyss and his favorite holiday was Easter. Daniel enjoyed dancing, shrimping, electrical work, and spending time with his family and friends.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Jeanette Terro of Sulphur; his four children, Sheila Pearson and husband Stuart of Carlyss, Chris Terro and wife Linda of Sulphur, Pamela Thibodeaux and husband Tony of Carlyss, and Michelle Merchant and husband Kevin of Vinton; extended long time family friends, Tim and Susan Lacomb; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 2 great-great grandchildren on the way; brother, Curtis Terro; 3 sisters, Hazel Leon, Mary Jane Gary, and Lorena Dluhos. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Francis Terro; his twin brother, Donald Terro, and 3 other brothers, Buford, Joe and Elton Terro; and his great granddaughter, Madelyn Grace Burnworth.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 10 A.M. St. Theresa Catholic Church in Carlyss with Father Jom Joseph officiating. Burial will be held in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 3-9 P.M. with a rosary at 7 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Thursday, July 12 at 8 A.M. until time of leaving for the service at the church.Visits: 2
