Daniel Luke Pellerin, 15, went home to be with the Lord, on June 30, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.
Daniel was a native of Sulphur and the youngest son of John and Brenda Pellerin. He was a student of Sulphur High School at the time of his passing. He was a quiet, honest, and virtuous person who sincerely loved his family and loved the Lord and never complained about anything. Daniel attended the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception where he was an alter server. He was loved by all who met him. He made his parents proud with his love for life, his Honor Roll status in school, his athletic abilities, his musical talent, as well as with the love and respect he showed others.
In 8th grade, Daniel was chosen as 1st pick for a 1st chair trombone slot in the District-5 honor band. He enjoyed anything associated with sports including his favorite, basketball, as well as football, baseball, fishing, racing dirt bikes, or just riding them in the Rocky Mountains. Daniel loved Texas A&M football and was interested in enrolling there after high-school.
Daniel is survived by his parents, John and Brenda Pellerin of Sulphur; his siblings, Kelli Jones and husband Rodney and Michael Pellerin all of Sulphur, Abby Swearengin and Jessie Smith and husband Roy all of Alabama; paternal grandparents, Erline and Leo Pellerin of Houston, TX; 2 uncles; 6 aunts; 3 nephews; 4 nieces; and his best fur friends, Rocky & Bella. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Vera Franklin.

Mimosa Pines Cemetery North on West Jim Pickens Road in Sulphur under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
Reception: Tuesday, July 5, 2016 - 4pm
A celebration of life with a meal and chocolate shakes (Daniel’s favorite) will follow at the Immaculate Conception Church (fellowship hall) 2700 Maplewood Dr in Sulphur.
