Daniel Mcfall

Reverend Daniel McFall, 55, of Lake Charles passed away at 5:15 PM on Friday, March 26, 2021 in a Baton Rouge hospice facility. 

Rev. McFall was born on January 1, 1966 in Lake Providence, LA where he was raised until moving to Philadelphia, MS as a teenager.  His father was the Pastor of Bethlehem Pentecostal Church in Philadelphia and he later handed the position down to his son who then pastored the church.  With his ministry, Rev. McFall touched many lives and was devoted to his church and music.  He sang with his family, The McFalls, throughout his life.  Rev. McFall also served as the chaplain for a hospice company for 10 years.  In 2011, he and his family moved to Lake Charles. 

He enjoyed watching football and hunting in his spare time.  Rev. McFall was a “people person” and will be remembered as a jokester. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Tina McFall; children, Olivia and Brennon McFall; mother, Brenda Hartley McFall; and siblings, J.R. McFall, Michael McFall, Madonna Massey, Elizabeth Kelly, and Paula Walker.

He was preceded in death by his father, James McFall and his twin brother, David McFall.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Eastwood Pentecostal Church.  Pastor Aaron Lopez will officiate.  Cremation will follow under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the start of the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for outstanding expenses.
