Danny Charles Templeton

Danny Charles Templeton, 58, of Sweetlake, LA died at 5:10 PM on Monday, September 10, 2012 in a local hospital.

Mr. Templeton was born November 2, 1953 in Kingsport, TN and lived all of his life in Sweetlake. He was a 1972 graduate of Grand Lake High School and attended McNeese State University. He worked as a supervisor at Southside Machine Works for over twenty years. During his younger years, he enjoyed playing golf and hunting. He was a loving husband and father and will be missed dearly.

Mr. Templeton is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Ann Templeton of Sweetlake, LA; daughter, Stacy Templeton Davis and husband Brian of Lafayette, LA; son, Jared Templeton and wife Jessica of Lake Charles; mother, Berna Boone; and brothers, Jody Boone, Eric Boone, all of Sweetlake, LA, Keith Boone of Lafayette, LA, Carl Boone of Corpus Christi, TX, and Robert Boone.

His funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Andrew Martin will officiate. Burial will follow in Sweetlake-Grand Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
