Danny Ray Benton, Sr.

Danny Ray Benton, Sr., 71, of Sulphur passed away on May 7, 2018 in his residence. He enjoyed watching some good old western shows and especially Dallas Cowboy football games, which was his favorite team, while eating his snacks and drinking his coke.  Danny was also famous for hiding the remote. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and his dogs.

Danny is survived by his children, DeeDee O’Quain and husband, Jeffro, Raymond Benton and wife Misty, Danny Benton, Jr. and wife Becky, Tommy Benton and wife Elise, Tammy Morrison, Amanda Benton and John Sipes, Dana Hardlin, and Jammie Guillory and husband Ben; 22 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 2 sisters; a brother; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers; and a sister.  

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 4 P.M. with John Sipes leading the service at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
