Danny Richard Hardesty, 55, a native of Texas and a resident of Sulphur, LA was entrusted to God's loving care on Thursday, May 21, 2015. Danny was a first class welder and a commercial artist. He loved fishing and was always telling stories of his time on the water. Danny was a natural artist and could draw anything from memory. He has paintings from California to Houston to Louisiana. Anyone who knew him knew he always had a story to tell. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Jason Hardesty and wife Angelina; daughters, Tonya and Danielle Hardesty; parents, Charles and Lucy Hardesty; brother, Dane Hardesty; and sisters, Hope Kounter and husband Courtney; 2 grandchildren; adopted sons, Wendell Fruge and wife Lindsey and Wesley Fruge and wife Heather and their babies; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Danny was preceded in death by his wife, Kimberly Ann Hardesty and sister in law, Codrey Hardesty. Visitation will commence at First Baptist Church of Carlyss on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 6:30 pm with Pastor Steve Shirley officiating. "I said, Oh, that I had the wings of a dove!
