Darin Anderton

Darin James Anderton, 53, passed away on August 5, 2020. He was a native of Grand Isle, Louisiana and a resident of Grand Lake, Louisiana.

Darin loved hunting and was happiest in the duck blind or the deer stand. He also loved all things football, sometimes even leaving the hunting camp early so he wouldn’t miss the Saints game.

Darin is survived by his parents; Ethel “Sissy” Anderton and Bruce & Linda Anderton. He leaves behind two children, Reed Anderton and Taylor Anderton and three grandchildren who he was so proud to show pictures of; Ella, Evelyn, and Elliot. He is also survived by his brother Quinn (Elizabeth) and two sisters, Becky (Brian) Santiny and Diana (Carlin) Bertrand, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and more friends than you can count.

Darin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Reed and Thelma Anderton and Roscoe & Gladys Besson, and one sister Jeri Blanchard.

Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
