Darla Kaye Guidry

Darla Kaye Guidry, 44, of Sulphur, died on August 24, 2014 in a Crowley hospital. She was born on April 20, 1970 in Sulphur, LA, where she was a lifelong resident. Darla worked as a medical lab technician for many years. Darla is survived by her parents, David Roy Guidry and Glenda White Guidry; her sister, Anita Rogers and husband, Ted; her brother, David Guidry; her niece, Kristy Guidry Ramirez and husband, Byron; her nephew, Casey Rogers and wife, Haley; her great niece, Makaela; her great nephews, Christian, Aiden and Cayson; her companion, Laurie Cuherpin; and her dog, Maggie whom she loved with all her heart. She had many friends and loved life. She will be missed beyond belief. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Johnny Mounce officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery North under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home with a rosary at 6 p.m. and will resume visitation on Wednesday at 8 a.m. until time of the service.
