Darlene Gardner Mills

Darlene Gardner Mills, 60, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 3:15 AM on Thursday, November 20, 2014 in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her mother, Letha Morgan Gardner Stelly; father, John L. Gardner, Sr.; and siblings, Esther Boyd, Mary Desormeaux, and John L. Gardner, Jr. (Bud). Darlene is survived by her sister, Suzanne Beesley; and a great many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend David Dewitt will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the start of the service.
