Daron Keith Bourque

Daron Keith Bourque, 58, of Lake Charles, LA, passed away at 9:10 PM on Friday, December 4, 2020 in his residence, surrounded by his family.

Mr. Bourque was born July 10, 1962 in Lake Charles, where he was a graduate of LaGrange High School.  He worked most of his career in the casino industry spending the last eight years at L’Auberge Casino.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved watching college football, especially LSU, but his true passion in life was for his family.

Mr. Bourque is survived by his wife of six years, Muthia Agustina Bourque of Lake Charles; daughter, Heather Kennon and husband Brad of Haughton, LA; son, Logan Chen-Bourque of Lake Charles; mother, Susie Bourque of Lake Charles; sisters, Devaney Jones of Lake Charles, Kimberly Laflin and husband Bob of Friendswood, TX, and Kelly Fontenot and husband Chris of Lake Charles; grandson, Ethan Kennon; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Bourque.

His cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.  A private memorial will be held at a later date.
