Darrell Keith Lognion

Darrell Keith Lognion, 53, of Lake Charles passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 in a local hospital.

Mr. Lognion was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. He was a graduate of Sowela Technical Institute and worked most of his life as a Machinist in local refineries. He also owned and managed rental properties. Mr. Lognion enjoyed music and playing pool and was an avid fisherman. He had quest for expanding his knowledge and will be most remembered for his spirit, humor and sense of a good time.

He leaves to honor his memory, his daughter, Monica Lynn Lognion of Lake Charles; father, Euclide Lognion and wife Genieve of Lake Charles; two sisters, Janet Guidry of Lake Charles and Debra LaFleur of Sulphur; former wife and friend, Yvonne Stegall Lognion of Lake Charles; one step-daughter, Kendra Gates and husband Robert of Iowa; many nieces, nephews and best friends, James Meche and Bill Anderson, both of Lake Charles.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Cormier Lognion.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM Saturday, March 31, 2012 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Monsignor James Gaddy will officiate. Interment will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation Friday will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary beginning at 6:00PM. Visitation Saturday will be from 9:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
