David D. Sellers

David D. Sellers, 67, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, September 18, 2022. He was born on April 23, 1955 in California, to Bill and Jennie Sellers. He fought adverse health issues for 4 years from a medical condition.

David was an avid LSU and New Orleans Saints football fan. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family. He had a passion for technology including anything related to computers and watching movies.

He graduated from Sulphur High School in 1973 and was a 1991 Louisiana State University graduate. After obtaining an electrical engineering degree from LSU, he worked in many places across the nation in his degree field. Switzerland, Columbia, and many states in the US were some of the places he called home while pursuing his passion for engineering. His last employment was at Indorama in Sulphur, LA where he retired due to his medical condition. David was also a member of First Baptist Church of Carlyss.

David is survived by his wife, Lyubov Sellers; father, Bill Sellers; sister, Melinda Sellers Mobley (Dale); son, Bradley Sellers (Kim); daughter, Yevhenlia Vovk; grandchildren, Avery, Kyndall, Austin, Jason, Daria; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jennie Sellers and his sister, Melissa Oliver.

Visitation and the funeral service will be held at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur, LA. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 5-9 PM and will continue at 8 AM on Thursday, September 22, 2022 with the funeral service to follow at 10 AM with Rev. Chris Wales officiating. Burial will be at Mimosa Pines South immediately following the funeral.
