David Glenn Leger

David Glenn Leger passed away May 8, 2024, surrounded by family.

David was a simple man that loved all things “Louisiana” – hunting, fishing, Cajun music, family, and God. His best memories often included cooking some fish or turtles he caught and playing music with family. He was a proud father, and his grandchildren did no wrong in Pappy’s eyes.

He is preceded in death by his father, Isaac Leger, his brother, Steven Leger, and his grandson, Zannie Leger.

The members of his family left to cherish his memory include his children, Zannie Leger (Kelsi) and Kristianna Brady (Brad), his grandchildren, Ridlee Brady, Karigan Brady, Ashton Brady, Korbyn Brady, Isaac Brady, Quincy Brady, and Kamilla Leger, his mother, Barbara Leger, and his siblings, Tony Leger, Keith Leger, Richard Leger (Tina), Ricky Leger, Terry Leger (Jill), Chris Leger and Crystal Leger.

His funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel of Lake Charles, located at 4321 Lake Street. Father Roland Vaughan will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with a Cursillo Rosary will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, May 13, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at 9:00 AM until the start of the service at 10:00 AM.
