David James Butterfield, Sr.

David James Butterfield, Sr., 75, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021, in a local hospital.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, David has resided in Sulphur for over 50 years. He retired after 37 years working maintenance for Palermo Properties. 

He will be greatly missed by his children; David Eavey (Jennifer), Loretta Eavey,  Paul Eavey (Brandy), April Richard (Ricky), and Robert “Bobby” Butterfield (Peggy).

He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Bonnie Taylor; sons, Spanky Butterfield and Johnny Butterfield; and daughters, Betty Gordan and Janet Butterfield.

Funeral services will be at 2pm, Thursday, December 23, 2021, in Johnson and Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur. Burial will follow at Westlake Memorial Gardens.
