David Stineff

David Stineff, 61, passed away in a local hospital on December 9, 2021.

He was born on July 19, 1960 in Lake Charles, LA to Donald and Peggy Buller Stineff.

He will be remembered as a loving family man who enjoyed traveling in his RV and sitting on his front porch watching episodes of MASH. He will also be remembered for his loud and humorous way.

David is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Beverly Fontenot Stineff; daughters, Latisha Gentry (Ben) and Laura Reber (Ryan); grandchildren, Layne, Olivia, and Jax; siblings, Donna Higgingbotham, Tammy Abney, Blaine Stineff, Jennifer Gore, Megan Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

His funeral service will be held at University Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 11 a.m. Rev. Fred Reed will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church Monday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the start of the service. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
