Deanna O'Quinn

Deanna R. O'Quinn, 67, of Sulphur passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014. Deanna was born in Rayne, LA and was a lifelong resident of the Sulphur/Carlyss area. She was a 1964 graduate of Sulphur High School and a graduate of Delta Tech in Beaumont, Texas. Deanna was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Carlyss. She enjoyed camping and playing cards with her family. She also loved running behind her nieces and nephews. Deanna was also a tax preparer at H&R Block for many years. Deanna is survived by her husband, Herb O'Quinn; one daughter, Stephanie O'Quinn; three sons, Jeffrey, Richard and Gregory O'Quinn; two grandchildren, Derrick and Aubrenee Haught; two sisters, Carolyn (Robert) Lacomb and Sonja (Kerry) Couch; and one brother, Larry Richard. Services will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 11 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Carlyss with Father Joe Aquino officiating. Cremation will follow under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 2pm to 9 pm at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with a Cursillo rosary at 7:30 pm and resume on Monday from 9-10:30 am. Inurnment will be at 2 pm Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Mimosa Pines Cemetery South.
